MONTEROCA
MONTEROCA emerged as a vision of regeneration and reconciliation with the land. Starting with the depletion of an old quarry, we identified an opportunity to rehabilitate the landscape and transform a degraded space into a point of convergence between the natural and the built environment.
The project proposes a new, living ecosystem: a regenerative lake, a botanical garden, restaurants and cafes, and sports circuits that encourage interaction, well-being, and community life. The architecture, far from imposing itself, integrates as a mediator between humankind and the environment, celebrating the site's geological history while projecting a sustainable future.

Tropical latitudes have allowed us to experiment with the openness and limits of the outside world, taking them to a point where it is difficult to distinguish whether one is outside or inside the house.
